One of the biggest rivalries in college sports, the "Battle of the Blues" kicks off this year with the UNC Tar Heels traveling to Cameron Indoor for what is sure to be one of the best games of the 2017 NCAA season. #loveDURM Contest Party
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH // MUSEUM OF DURHAM HISTORY // 6-8PM
A visual love letter to Durham. Residents across Bull City have a chance to share what they love about Durham in the first ever #loveDURM Photo Contest running from January 25th to February 8th.
The concept is simple: take a photo of what makes you love Durham and post it to social media with the hashtag #loveDURM. It could be a place, a local business, or even someone special. Whatever makes you #loveDURM!
The #loveDURM contest party at the Museum of Durham History on Friday, February 10th from 6pm to 8pm, will offer food, a specialty cocktail by Alley Twenty Six, and Valentine’s Day-themed prizes for the best photos, including the grand prize: a stay for two at the BRAND NEW JB Duke Hotel, as decided by a panel of Durham celebrity judges.

DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BAND
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST // MOTORCO MUSIC HALL // 8:00 PM
The world famous music machine from New Orleans, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, will perform this February at Motorco Music Hall. These guys are incredible. A high-octane evening with plenty of horns to get the whole crowd dancing. They've toured and been featured as guest artists on albums ranging from David Bowe to Dr. John to the Black Crowes.
