Georges Rousse Installation Viewing & Reception

Georges Rousse is a visionary from France who creates optical illusions in buildings destined for razing or renovation. He was a huge hit in Durham 10 years ago, and has revisited creating two new pieces with the help of dozens of volunteers.

NC Comicon is where the most influential creators from the world comics, animation, film, gaming and cosplay coming together to celebrate creativity and fandom. All ages, passions and fandoms are welcome!

"The 2015 convention was an unmitigated success with high profile guests Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance, Umbrella Academy) and Charlie Adlard (artist for the Walking Dead) joining forces with the NCC to raise over 16,000 dollars for Duke Children’s Hospital."

The Temptations and the Four Tops

Friday, November 18 // DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center // 8pm

Two quintessential Motown groups. One amazing evening. Durham is proud to host a night of performances from the legendary vocal groups, The Temptations and the Four Tops!

With fine-tuned choreography and beautiful harmonies, The Temptations became the definitive male vocal group of the 60's with hits like "My Girl," "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," and "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone." Ranking with The Temptations as a consistent Motown hitmaker, the Four Tops produced some of Motown's favorites like "I Can't Help Myself," "Reach Out, I'll Be There," and "Baby I Need Your Loving."
